Rick Armstrong’s Aurora-Elgin area boys basketball rankings and player of the week

Yorkville makes the biggest jump in the rankings, topped by Waubonsie Valley, while West Aurora’s Jordan Brooks is the player of the week.

Player of the week

Jordan Brooks, who has been outstanding all season, averaged 26 points in three games for West Aurora. The senior guard scored a career-high 35 points in a 75-51 win over Plainfield South, added 22 in a 74-47 win over Plainfield Central and had 21 in a 48-44 loss to Plainfield North.
